Devout Hindus resolve to strongly oppose conversions in Ulhasnagar

Ulhasnagar (Maharashtra): In a meeting organized by ‘Dharmaraksha Manch’ under the leadership of Pujya Sai Balram of Dharmadas Darbar at Town Hall, it was resolved to fight strongly against conversions.The meeting was attended by about 75 dignitaries like Mr. Shivaji Vatkar, the district coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, Mr. Narendra Rajani, General Secreatry, Thane district, BJP, Mr. Radhakrushna Bhatia, General Secretary of Indian Sindhi Society and its President of women faction, Mrs. Veena Bhatia, Mr. Satyapal Malani of VJP, Mr. Dharmpal Gupta of RSS etc.

Pujya Sai Balram said, “About 11,000 people have been converted in Ulhasnagar in the last 2 years out of which more than 7000 are Sindhis. Christian Missionaries have opened about 192 branches here for this purpose.”

Mr. Manoj Mohnani and Mr. Narendra Rajani explained citing many examples on how the Christian missionaries go to the needs of Hindus and then brain-wash them. Mr. Vatkar said, “As per the information given on the website of ‘Foreign Currency Act’, huge funds are being provided for conversion. Muslims cannot be converted because they are imparted ‘Dharmashikshan’ and respect towards their religion is awakened in them. Hindus area lso in badly need of ‘Dharmashikshan’” He told about Dharmashikshan classes and Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabhas held by HJS and even other drives and campaigns undertaken by HJS.

In the end, it was decided to hold ‘sabhas’ for awakening of the people, start ‘Dharmashiklshan’ classes, meetings at every corner and go door to door for ‘prasar’.
