Rashtriya Hindu Andolan held at Faridabad (Haryana) and Varanasi

Faridabad (Haryana) : On 23rd October, demonstrations were staged under the aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan (RHA)’ in City Park, Vallabhgad area on various issues such as to protest against refusal of permission for Navaratrotsav –Durga-puja in Kanglapahar, Birbhum in Bengal due to Muslims; to demand ban on crackers causing pollution besides incurring huge monetary loss; to demand stringent laws to prevent oppression of women etc. Representatives of ‘Gou-Manav Seva Samiti’, Sanatan Sanstha, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and other ‘Hindutvavadis’ participated in the demonstrations.

Varanasi : Imposition of permanent ban on films made with Pakistani artists; immediate ban on Chinese crackers were some of the demands made during demonstrations staged at Varun-Bridge, Shastri-ghat under auspices of RHA. Members of pro-Hindu organizations and other patriotic citizens strongly registered their protest and submitted representation to the District Collector for forwarding the same to Union Cultural Minister and Union Environment Minister. Representatives of ‘India with Wisdom’, Sanatan Sanstha, HJS and other devout Hindus participated in the demonstrations; besides, advocates Kamaleshchandra Tripathi, Sanjeevan Yadav and Vijay Seth.
