Representations submitted by HJS and awareness created all over Maharashtra

Opposition to crackers with covers having pictures of Deities and great national leaders so also for Chinese crackers

Diwali is just round the corner and crackers are sold on large scale on this occasion. There are pictures of Hindus’ Deities and great national leaders on the covers of these crackers. When such crackers are burst, the pictures are torn to pieces leading to denigration of Deities and insult of great national leaders. Therefore, such crackers should be banned. Pollution caused due to crackers also needs to be avoided. Nowadays, markets are full with even Chinese crackers; besides these crackers. We should boycott Chinese crackers since the money earned out of such sale is used for funding terrorist activities of Pakistan, our enemy country. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) submitted representations to Maharashtra police and local civic administrations with the above demands and various drives were undertaken in this context.
