Navi Mumbai : Recently, an article was published in Government newspaper of China that Indians can only bark about not buying Chinese products but would not do anything in that context. An exhibition, called as ‘China Product Exhibition – 2016’ has been organized at Mumbai, between 15th and 17th November; for increasing trade of Chinese products in India. Holding such exhibition is like extending financial aid to a country that is involved in anti-Indian activities. China has been openly supporting Pakistan which is involved in constant terrorist attacks on India. To give apt reply to impudence of China and to pay respect to people’s sentiments, the proposed exhibition should be cancelled, was the demand made during demonstrations staged on 22nd October under aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan (RHA)’.

About 50 patriotic and devout citizens participated in demonstrations including ‘Hindu Rashtra Sena’s Shri. Bhalchandra Gaikwad, ‘Shri Shivpratishthan Hindustan’s Shri. Ajay Barge and Shri. Swapnil Yadav; ‘Bajarang Dal’s Shri. Sandip Bhagat, Shri. Akshay Sarak; ‘Maratha Mitramandal’s Shri. Sandip Gole; Shiv Sena Shakha-chief, Shri. Sunil Thale, for Palm Beach Road; Shiv Sena’s Maharashtra distributor, Shri. Vaibhav Salunke; ‘Hindu Mahasabha’s Shri. Mangesh Mhatre; ‘Yoga Vedanta Seva Samiti’s Shri. Nankchand Mishra; cow-patron Shri. Sandip Sharma and ‘Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Mumbai spokesperson, Dr. Uday Dhuri.

The other demands made on the occasion were – immediate imposition of ban on crackers causing pollution and causing huge financial loss and taking over forts which are legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaraya but owned by private individuals; by declaring them as protected monuments.

Views expressed by devout citizens

It is the moral duty of the State Govt. and PM to preserve forts ! – Ajay Barge, Shri Shivpratishthan, Hindustan

Constructing a memorial of Shivaraya in Arabian Sea is good; but Shivaji-patrons cannot tolerate deteriorating condition of forts which are actually a brilliant identity of the rtegime of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. We are working for maintaining and preservation of these forts but it is the moral responsibility of the State Government and the Prime Minister to protect and preserve forts.

Indians should boycott Chinese products ! – Swapnil Yadav, Shri Shivpratishthan, Hindustan

The principles of trade and language adopted by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj during his regime need to be implemented even now. Forts need to be repaired and maintained. Indians should boycott Chinese products.

India should shrewdly oppose China’s economic war ! – Mangesh Mhatre, Hindu Mahasabha

It is not possible for India to boycott China owing to the international pacts under today’s open and free economy. Indians should boycott Chinese products. China wants to make India as its market for all products; therefore, Indians should wisely make use of such situation.

Exhibition of Chinese products is against the appeal made of ‘Make in India’ ! – Dr. Uday Dhuri, HJS

To hold exhibition of Chinese products is like extending financial aid to a country which doesn’t want India to prosper. On one hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been undertaking campaigns like ‘Make in India’ and on the other hand, by holding such exhibitions for sale of Chinese products is doing exactly against the appeal made by our PM.

It is now time to teach a lesson to China that is earning millions of profits through trade with India but has always acted against India’s interests. – Shri. Asmit Kondalkar, Shri Shivpratishthan Hindustan
