Nagpur : Demonstrations were staged under the aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan (RHA)’ at Sakkardara Chowk for various demands like imposition of ban on Chinese crackers which are harmful for health and cause  pollution, other Chinese products should also be banned; artists from enemy country like Pakistan shouldn’t be allowed to work in India and earn money and 23 forts of Chhatrapati Shivaraya which are owned by private individuals should be immediately taken over by the Government; declaring them as national monuments and should be preserved. The above demands were made during demonstrations staged with support of Shiv Sena, Warkari Sampradaya and other pro-Hindu organizations.

H.B.P. Vanave Maharaj from Warkari Sampradaya graced the occasion with his auspicious presence. H.B.P. Vanave Maharaj said, “All money goes to China when we buy Chinese products. Our people do not get any benefit; therefore, even if our indigenous products are costly, we should use them and people should not buy Chinese products.”

No place was available for holding demonstrations in market area but Shri. Ashish Surushe, the owner of Mssrs. Shailesh Electricals granted permission, therefore, it was possible to stage demonstrations in front of his shop. Police present at the venue also promised to extend cooperation in future demonstrations since it was being done for a good cause.

Highlights

An activist of ‘Maratha Kranti Silent March’ met volunteers of HJS and spontaneously informed that he liked the issues taken up through demonstrations. He said to keep him informed about such things on ‘What’s AP’ so that he would forward it in his group. He included HJS volunteers in his WA group.
