Representation submitted to Resident District Collector
Kolhapur : Denigration of Hindu Deities and national leaders taking place through pictures printed on crackers should be prevented and illegal sale of Chinese products should be stopped were some of the demands made through a representation submitted on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on 18th October to Resident Dy. District Collector Sanjay Shinde. He promised to issue notice and instruct vendors against sale of crackers with pictures of Deities. He also promised to take action against such vendors who keep crackers with Deities pictures for sale if devout Hindus bring such cases to his notice.

Raju Yadav, Karveer Taluka Chief of Shiv Sena and Shri. Kishore Ghadge; Shri. Madhukar Nazare, Shri. Pritam Powar, Shri. Dnyanesh Gawade, Shri. Dnyaneshwar Aswale of HJS etc. along with other devout Hindus
