Ishwarpur (Dist. Sangli) : During the Second World War, USA attacked Japan with nuclear bomb. After such attack, even a needle made in USA is not sold in Japan. After Uri attack, all Indians have very strong feelings towards Pakistan. Such Pakistan is being helped by China; therefore, by keeping Japan as our ideal, patriotic citizens of this country should boycott all Chinese products, including crackers. The above appeal has been made by Shri. Gajanan Patil of Shri Shivapratishthan during a press conference held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at ‘Datta Mangal Karyalaya’ for creating awareness amongst people towards crackers. Shri. Santosh Desai of HJS, Sou. Madhura Tophkhane of Sanatan Sanstha and advocate (Sou.) Bharati Jain of ‘Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad (HVP)’ were present on the occasion.

Shri. Santosh Desai of HJS said, “Crackers not only create pollution but also cause health problems. The money, which is expected to be used for welfare of this country, is utilized for improper purposes. Patriotic citizens should therefore, avoid bursting crackers. The Government should also look into this matter and pass stringent laws.” Sou. Madhura Tophkhane of Sanatan Sanstha said, “Sanatan Sanstha not only create awareness towards keeping away from crackers but also explains the ideal manner of celebrating Diwali festival. Such awareness is created by going to even schools and colleges besides submitting representations to the Government.”
