Demonstrations against anti Shivaji NCERT at Kalyan by Hindu Organisations

Kalyan(Mumbai, Maharashtra): Protest was carried out on behalf of HJS at Kalyan west Railway station against NCERT for its biased conduct. It was regarding exlusion of history of Shivaji Maharaj in  ‘Hamare-Atit -2’ history book published by central government as part of curriculum for 7th standard of  ‘National Education Research and Training organisation’. At this time H.H. Modak felicitated the photo of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj with garland of flowers.

HJS Protest against NCERT at Kalyan

The Shivpremis (Shivaji Maharaj Supporters) demanded to include the history of Shivaji Maharaj’s glory otherwise cancel this book. More than 100 activists had participated in this protest.

The other dignitaries who participated in this protest were Vice Mayor of Kalyan Mr. Narendra  Pawar, Mr. Arvind More, city organizer of Shivasena for legislative Assembly, Transport committee member Mr. Bal Parab, Dr. Upendra Hadake, President of Medical front Kalyan of BJP, Mr. Pramod Joshi National spokesperson of All India Hindu Mahasabha and Mr. Ajay Sambhus of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. A petition will be given by the samiti to Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Thousands of supporters of Shivaji Maharaj have signed this petition.

At this time Vice Mayor Mr. Pramod Joshi said, “The reality of Tajmahal is Tejomahal. But this history has been suppressed and hidden from us. Nobody dares to talk about this in Hindusthan. That’s why all of us should unite.”

Ajay Sambhus said, “Today government hides the real history and teaches the history of Muslims who have denigrated our faith and deities. East India company has been referred as H.H. East India Company. They tell us about how to construct Masjids. But they do not tell how Moghuls have demolished and denigrated our deity’s statues in temples.”

Highlights:

* A large number of seekers from Sadguru Swami Seva trust had participated in this protest.
* After the protest many of the supporters expressed their willingness to join Samiti’s mission
