HJS paid tribute to Martyrs Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev

Kalyan (Maharashtra): Bhagat Singh and Rajguru sacrificed their lives for the independence of this country. Such ideals need to be kept before each person to inspire them to make sacrifices for the protection of the Nation and Dharma, with unity. The above views were expressed by Mr. Ajay Sambhus of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS).

A program was organized on the occasion of Martyrs Day jointly by Sree Gurusingh Sabha and HJS at the Gurunanak School grounds. About 150 devout Hindu patriots attended the program. The other dignitaries present on the dais were Mr. Bakhtavar Singh, the President of Sree Gurusingh Sabha, Mr. Rajendra Deolekar, a Shiv Sena municipal councillor, Congress municipal councillor, Mr.Vijay Pandit, Mr. Ranajit Singh and other eminent personalities from the Sikh community.

Mr. Singh said, “The thinking process of all members in the family of Bhagat Singh was quite revolutionary, therefore, patriotism was inculcated in him from his childhood. At such a young age, he joined the fight of independence. In a short span of time, he undertook many revolutionary activities.”

Congress municipal councillor Pandit said, “The mission jointly undertaken by the Sikh community and HJS for Hindu Dharma is very good. Just as wax melts when the wick burns, I too will melt whenever Hindu Dharma and Sikhs burn.”

Highlights

1. A poem was presented by Mr. Ajitsingh Bhavara and his associates on the life history of Bhagat Singh

2. HJS collected signatures from the participants on the representation to be submitted to the Prime Minister regarding the insignificant mention of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in NCERT’s History text book and so also the misrepresentation of Bhagat Singh being referred to as a terrorist.

HJS pays homage to revolutionaries in various parts of Mumbai

Mumbai: A program was organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at Shahid Bhagat Singh Maidan, Kala Chowki, Parel on the martyr day to pay homage to the martyrs Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. Mr. Prasad Mankar of HJS and Mrs. Janhavi Bhadirke of ‘Ranaragini’ were also present on the occasion besides other dignitaries. They garlanded the statue of Martyr Bhagat Singh. Mr. Mankar narrated stories related to martyrs Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. The program was attended by about 60 patriots.  

Meera-Bhyandar: A program was arranged on the occasion at Meera-Bhyandar Municipal School No. 14, Penkar Pada, Meera Road (East). Here, Mr. Datta Bendre of HJS spoke about martyrs Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. The program was attended by 50 students along with 3 teachers. Mrs. Meena Patil, the Principal of the School and Mrs. Janette D’ Mello extended their cooperation in organizing the program.

Borivali: Mrs. Smita Dhuri, a member of HJS and principal of Abhinav Vidya Mandir, Borivali (E) spoke on the topic in the presence of few students and teachers.

Nerul: Mr. Ramesh Sanil of HJS expressed his views on the topic after the ‘keertan’ arranged in Sree Ganesh Temple at Sarsole Depot, Nerul which was attended by about 250 participants.

HJS pays homage to revolutionaries at Alande (Tal. Bhor)

At Alande, in the primary school of the Zilha Parishad, Mrs. Jayashree Sabnis of HJS guided 80 students along with the teachers on the occasion of the martyr’s day of the revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. Few students also spoke about the sacrifices made by these revolutionaries.

Highlights

1. Students said that they were proud of being Hindus and would come to school with ‘Tilak’ on their foreheads.

2. Mrs. Rajeshirke, a teacher said that such programs should be held often as it is necessary to inculcate moral values in children.
