New Delhi : Dara Sena and other pro-Hindu organizations staged demonstrations in front of the main office of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) led by Shri. Chandraprakash Kaushik, the national President of ‘Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha’. A representation was submitted to Director General Rakesh Tiwari of ASI and Minister of Tourism and Culture, Mahesh Sharma on the occasion; demanding that the Sun temple should be opened immediately for devotees.

Shri. Mukesh Jain, the President of ‘Dara Sena’ said while addressing the demonstrators, “The Sun Temple near Puri in Odisha was created by Bhagavan Shrikrushna’s son Samb. The temple is full of divine energy and was closed down by the British in the year 1903 by filling it with sand because the huge ‘tantrik’ power of this temple used to drown their ships. After closing down of this temple, the British rule, which was limited to only Kolkata, could spread to whole of India and in 1911; Delhi was made as the Capital.

Swami Omji, the national President of ‘Ojaswi Party’ said, “After closing down of this temple, poverty and food crisis hit not only Odisha and Bengal but whole North-Eastern region. The British hanged Hindu King Jadonand of Nagaland and forcibly converted all Hindus; therefore, opening of this temple is necessary to get back the past glory.”
