Immersion of Ganesh idols be done in flowing water

Awakening through Press Conference by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at Nashik !

Nashik : The so called environmentalists and ANIS who sleep for 364 days and start shouting ‘Pollution’ on the occasion of Ganeshotsav. Have they ever objected to the pollution caused on the occasion of Bakri-Id or Christmas ? Those asking to immerse Ganesh idols in artificial tanks in the name of celebrating ecofriendly Ganeshotsav, never dare to say, ‘Celebrate ecofriendly Bakri-Idby cutting bakri of clay’, ‘Do not immerse Taboot in water’, ‘During X-mas do not use thermacol and plastic material’.They concentrate opposing only Hindu’s festivals. Ganesh idols immersed in artificial tanks are denigrated later on. In order to avoid this, devotees instead of immersing Ganesh idols in artificial tanks, should immerse them in flowing water as per religious scriptures and seek the blessings of Shri Ganesh This appeal was made by Shri Shashidhar Joshi in the Press Conference at Nashik. Shri Deepak Bairagi of Akhil Bharatiya Vaishnav Parishad, Shri Satish Shukla, President, Purohit Sangh, Shri Praffula Pathak, Shivsrusti Multipurpose Development Institute, College Road, Nashik, Sau.Jyoti Pandit of Sanatan Sanstha were present.
