Staunch Hindus stop denigration of Lord Ganesh idols by ‘Lions Club’

Karad:At the banks of Krushnmai. The activists of ‘Lions Club’ removed the immersed idols of Lord Ganesha from water and feigned as if they have received as donation. On getting information of this ugly incident, proud Hindus promptly took active steps of educating the concerned and themselves immersed the idols. Hindus also came to know about the invitation of school students to participate in this anti-Hindu activity on the bait that they would be given marks. They also educated the children about it.

Lions Club had erected a pandal on the banks of Krushnmai and appealed for donation of Ganesh idol, but there was no response to this appeal. There was no responsible in person in the pandal. On receipt of only 2 idols, the activists of the Club removed the immersed idols from the river and feigned of having received as donation. On getting this information the staunch Hindus rushed to the spot. They educated the activists of Lions Club present there. The students of Palker School told the proud Hindus of being invited by one Lions Club activist Dr. Varsha Deshpande on grounds of obtaining good marks in environmental science subject. At that time the Hindus convinced the students as to how plaster of Paris does not cause pollution. After which the students went away. Then the proud Hindus immersed these idols in the water.

At this time vice secretary of the BJP Shri.Gorakh Shinde, Shri Vinayakrao Pawaskar, Vishwanath Pataskar of the Hindu Ekta Andalon, Shivsena’s Shri. Dadaso Shingan, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Manohar Jadhav, Sambhaji Jagtap, Sanjay Gurav, Arun Yadav, Dr.Jyoti Hemant etc. proud Hindus were present.
