Advertisement denigrating Shri Ganesh removed by PMC from its ‘Twitter’ account !

Outcome of active protest by HJS !

Hindus should offer gratitude at God’s feet for this success !

Pune – Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) had denigrated Shri Ganesh on its ‘Twitter’ account ‘pmc care’ through an advertisement related to observing traffic rules by citizens. News about the same was published in ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’. Thereafter, Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, Maharashtra State Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) contacted ‘pmc care’s Rahul Jagtap demanding immediate withdrawal of the denigrating advertisement; also warning him to take legal action for hurting religious sentiments if it was not withdrawn. Jagatap promised to remove the said advertisement. It is now observed that the advertisement has been withdrawn from PMC’s ‘Twitter’ account. (Hindus should offer gratitude at Shri Ganesh’s feet for this success ! Hindus should take active part, in lawful manner, in prevention of denigration of their seats of worship ! Prevention of denigration is in a way worship of that Deity ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) It was shown in the controversial advertisement that Shri Ganesh was telling His devotees to take care of own head since everyone is not so lucky as Him to get another head; thus promoting use of helmets.

A reporter of ‘Dainik Sanatan Praahat’ contacted ‘pmc care’s Rahul Jagatap but he was giving evasive answers saying that those, who were raising objection, were looking at the advertisement with wrong angle when there was nothing denigrating in the advertisement; still he said that verbal instructions were given to withdraw the advertisement. (Showing any Deity in another form instead of original form or personification of Deity is denigration. Deity is not the medium to be used for one’s imagination. Lack of Dharmashikshan is the cause of Hindus denigrating their seats of worship due to losing love and respect towards their Dharma. Imparting Dharmashikshan to all Hindus is the effective solution to prevent such denigrations. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat )

Has PMC taken contract of denigrating Shri Ganesh ? – Sunil Ghanavat, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti

PMC earlier took anti-Dharma decision in connection with immersion of Ganesh idols and trampled sentiments of Ganesh devotees. Now, through its website, it has denigrated Shri Ganesh and insulted the Deity. Has PMC taken contract of denigrating ‘Ganaraya’ ? PMC should immediately remove the demeaning picture of Shri Ganesh and render apology to Ganesh devotees. If this picture is not removed, cases will be filed against PMC.
