Nashik: Prime Minister wrongly evaluated ‘Gou-rakshaks’. Indians voted for him with the expectation of having supportive Government for prevention of cow-slaughter all over India; but he has insulted ‘Gou-rakshaks’. He has insulted even Bhagavan Shrikrushna who is the protector of cows. All Hindus and ‘Gou-rakshaks’ came together under the aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan (RHA)’ to condemn his statement.
Along with the demand that the Prime Minister should take back his statement, other demands made on the occasion were army be given all rights to stop violence in Kashmir and stringent action be taken against terrorists so also their supporters. More than 30 representatives of different pro-Hindu organizations participated in the demonstrations. Later, a representation with the above demands was submitted to Dy. District Collector Ramdas Khedkar.
