HJS protests against exhibition of anti-Hindu M F Husain’s art-work

New Delhi – On 21st August, ‘DAG Modern’ Company from Delhi is going to hold exhibition and sale of art-works at Imperial Hotel by different artists. Among them are paintings by M F Husain on ‘Padmini Mohini Shankhini’ and his other paintings. ‘Padmini Mohini Shankhini’ also has three naked women. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has protested against this exhibition. Shri. Shivaji Vatkar of HJS tried to contact and talk to Executive Director Ashish Anand and President Kishore Singh of ‘DAG Modern’s office but they were not available. He, therefore, talked to Manager Vinit of the above company and explained to him about the opposition of HJS and other pro-Hindu organizations to Husain’s paintings and receiving complaints in this context. Manager Vinit said that he would inform his senior officers about the same.

The main purpose behind opposing anti-Hindus is to bring ideological changes in them; therefore, protest against anyone should be based on principles and at thought level !
