Christians meeting patients and propagating their religion

Port Blair – “Three Christian women were taking down names and addresses of Hindu patients admitted in G. B. Pant Hospital at Port Blair in Andaman when I had gone there to meet a BJP activist and they were telling Hindu patients to chant name of Jesus. They were then giving their visiting card to helpless patients and making appeal to them to visit church,” informed Mohan Haldar, a BJP activist.

It was noticed that Christian missionaries were taking advantage of poor Hindu patients who were under tension due to illness. They were meeting only such patients who were suffering from fracture or some ordinary ailments; but they were not meeting patients suffering from incurable diseases. It was also observed that they didn’t approach or dare to tell a Muslim female patient about Jesus. It showed that they were targeting only poor and less educated Hindus, said Haldar.

Similar incident was reported by one citizen that took place at Dr. R. P. Hospital at Maya Sindar, Andaman about a month ago.
