Action committee becomes aggressive on 5 issues including protection of sanctity of the Devasthan, following religious traditions and prevention of corrupt practices  !

Pandharpur : The Government administrator appointed on Shri Vitthal-Rukmini Devasthan has been running the affairs of this temple in whatever manner he chooses such as not following ancient religious traditions observed in this temple; not doing anything on cows dying due to consumption of plastic; changing dates of important religious rituals like ‘Prakshal-puja’ etc. To prevent such problems and to maintain sanctity of Shri Vitthal-Rukmini Devasthan; following religious traditions and rituals as per ‘Dharma-shaastra’; corruption-free management, protection and nurturing of cows from ‘Gou-shala’, an action committee has been set up during a meeting between representatives of Warkari Sampradaya and pro-Hindu organizations on 8th August.   

Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, State Convener of HJS was appointed as spokesperson of this action committee, H.B.P. Ramakrushna Maharaj Veer will be the local spokesperson and advocate Virendra Ichalkaranjikar, national President of ‘Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad’ will be its legal advisor. Along with the above office bearers of the action committee, H.B.P. Rana Maharaj Vaskar, ‘Shivapratishthan Hindustan’s Shri. Pratap Salunkhe, Shri. Saurabh Thite, Shri. Virendra Utpat, Shri. Vijay Badave, District Coordinator of HJS Shri. Rajan Bunage, Sanatan Sanstha’s Shri. Appasaheb Sangolkar, ‘Peshava Yuva Manch’s Shri. Ganesh Lanke, Shiv Sena’s Shri. Vaibhav Badave, Maheshacharya Utpat attended the meeting. Further course of action was decided in the meeting.
