‘Dainik Loksatta’ continuous justification of Lord Ganesh’s ridicule

Pune: A news item was published about denigration of Lord Ganesh in the supplementary paper called ‘Balrang’ published by Loksatta on 29th August. Reading about the said news, a staunch Hindu lady from Pune called ‘Dainik Loksatta’s office to ask for explanation on denigration of Lord Ganesh.

The person answering her phone did not disclose his name nor did he accept that there was denigration of Ganesh. The person talking to her in fact justified picture of Lord Ganesh shown in uniform. He also said that Hindus are tolerant and they would not feel anything about such pictures. He said that even earlier such pictures were drawn but nothing was said at that time then why only now such an issue is made out of it.
