Denigration of Lord Ganesh by NDTV and ‘Daily Samna’

Mumbai : A private news channel called NDTV has made a mockery of Lord Ganesh in is program ‘Ganaraya Apake Dwar’. In this program, an actor has been shown as Lord Ganesh and he has been taken on a tour of Mumbai and narrated problems faced by people living in Mumbai. It has also been shown as Lord Ganesh holding discussions with many people. Similar news of Lord Ganesh visiting the office of ‘Dainik Samna’ and having discussions with Shri. Sanjay Raut, the editor of Samna has been published on page 3 of the newspaper. It is mentioned that the Lord discussed many issues like flood situation in the state, suicides by farmers, repairs of roads in Mumbai, increasing population of Mumbai etc. Whereas Mid-Day, the English Daily has shown Ganapati in the forms of Hitler, Bin Laden and George Bush.
