Birmitraput (Odisha) : Representation to the government on behalf of HJS at Birmitrapur asking for cancellation of the concession in air travel tickets for Haj pilgrimage in 2018 and that of the permission granted by Telangana Govt. for Rohingya Muslims’ settlement was handed over to Shri. William Bodraji in Tahsildar’s office. Many Dharmabhimani were present there at this time.
On 16th January 2108 the grant given for Haj pilgrimage was cancelled by the central Govt. But within about 1 ½ months time the Govt had declared 15 to 45 % concession in Air travel for Haj pilgrimage.
