I oppose Karnataka anti-superstitions bill : H. H. Shri Damodaranand Saraswatiji

hindu_aaghatSatara : I am aware of anti-superstitions Act and obtained information on this subject even from Karnataka. Karnataka Government should seek opinion of experts in the field before passing such Act. I too oppose anti-superstitions Act proposed to be passed by Karnataka Government, stated His Holiness Shri Damodaranand Saraswatiji of Sadanand Swami Mutt during a program. Shri. Mangesh Nikam of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) called on him and explained to him about the proposed anti-Superstitions Act to be passed in Karnataka. Shri. Ravikumar Kothale of VHP was present on the occasion.

Shri. Mangesh Nikam explained to Swamiji in detail about anti-superstitions Act passed in Maharashtra. Shri. Nikam informed that the Act was opposed by all strata of society in Karnataka. H. H. Maharaj expressed his wish to meet activists of HJS and take part its activities.
