PMDS illegally sells 8 acres of land belonging to Shri Mahalakshmi temple

PMDS illegally sold 8 acres of land ! – Accusation of ‘Prajasattak’, a social organisation

Kolhapur : ‘Paschim Maharashtra Devasthan Vyavasthapan Samiti (PMDS)’ has illegally sold 8 acres of land owned by Shri Karveer Nivasini Ambabai Devasthan located at Morewadi. A social organization named ‘Prajasattak’ has made the above accusation and demanded inquiry into the matter. Shri. Dilip Desai, a member of this organization made such demand during press conference.

Shri. Desai said on this occasion

1. The signature of Shri. Digambar Neelkanth, the then member of PMDS is fake.

2. Revenue Ministry and office bearers of PMDS have connived to strike this deal although there was clear Government order preventing sale of land under Survey Nos. 32 and 45 owned by Ambabai Devasthan. Even then, land has been sold from the said area.

3. Ambabai Devasthan has 90 acres of land at Morewadi – Pachgaon area and in the first stage, misappropriation of 8 acres of land was exposed. The dealing has been done during Congress and BJP- Shiv Sena regimes. Office-bearers of PMDS and responsible Government officers have supported the misappropriation during both the Government’s regimes.

4. PMDS should therefore, be dissolved being a responsible party in this dealing. The meeting of PMDS held on 13th December 2010 is doubtful and the malpractices are going on since the years 2002-2003. We will try to get stay on illegal sale of land.

Members of PMDS

1. Dr. Amit Saini, President, PMDS

2. Rajendra Deshmukh, former MLA of NCP, Aatpadi and member of PMDS

3. Hiroji Parab, Sindhu-durga, a member, PMDS

4. B. N. Patil- Mugalikar, member, PMDS

5. Pramod Patil, Ichalkaranji, member of PMDS

6. Sou. Sangita Uday Khade, member, PMDS
