HJS submits a representation to the District Collector and Police Commissioner at Amaravati

Amaravati (Maharashtra): A representation demanding ban on sale of fire crackers with pictures of Deities and great National Heroes was recently submitted on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to the District Collector and the Police Commissioner at Amaravati.

It has been mentioned in the representation that it is a cognizable offense to hurt or make a mockery of religious sentiments. The denigration and insult of Deities and great National Heroes taking place due to their pictures printed on the fire crackers should be prevented and the traders should not be allowed to sell such crackers.
