‘Hindu Dharma-jagruti’ gathering takes place with great zest at Rakaskop (Dist. Belgaum) on the occasion of ‘Vijaya-Dashami’

Belgaum (Karnataka): Hindus who follow the teachings of ‘Sarvetra Sukhinah Santu’ and ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ are labeled as terrorists today. Those who are attacking this country like Kasab and Afzal are being pampered. The picture of nude Bharatmata drawn by M F Husain is included in the curriculum. Children are taught that revolutionaries were terrorists and that Chhatrapati Shivaraya was a robber. This educational system, which tramples upon the Hindus’ objects of worship, should be changed and Hindus should be given such education that will create self-respect in them. The above views were expressed by Mr. Jayesh Thali, the district-coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for the State of Goa.

On the occasion of ‘Vijaya – Dashami’, a public Ganesh Festival Committee had organized a rally for ‘Hindu Dharma Janajagruti’. The meeting was inaugurated by Mr. Thali by lighting a lamp, MLA Mr. Sanjay Patil from Belgaum rural region broke a coconut besides, pictures of ‘Gou-mata’, Bharatmata, Saint Dnyaneshwar and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj were worshipped by Mr. Gundu Patil, a member of Gram-panchayat, Mr. Baburao Desai, a member of Panchayat Committee from Jamboti, Mr. Rajendra Kagralkar and Mr. Parshuram Angolkar respectively.

Mr. Thali said further in his address that today, the Indian Government is being partial to Hindus and extending all benefits and facilities to the minorities under the name of secularism. The Government that goes back on its word for displaying the pictures of Afzal Khan slain by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj since it is concerned with the feelings of non-Hindus, does not bother to take action against Subodh Kerkar for his denigrating pictures of Lord Ganesha displayed right during Ganesha Festival. Many Hindu young women are drawn into the net of ‘Love Jihad’. Hindu women should have ideals like Rani Padmini before them rather than film actresses. Hindus should be ready for self defense.”

Mr. Sanjay Patil, MLA said that one can wake up a sleeping person but it is difficult to wake up a person who is pretending to be sleeping. Instead of having respect and love for our Nation and Dharma, we have affection for wrong things like Dhrutarashtra. That is the reason so many Duryodhanas are taking birth today. If we are the descendents of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, we should take pride in our God, Nation and Dharma. If we don’t have such pride, introspect whether our blood has become adulterated. We must learn from the life history of our great national heroes. Accept the person as your own if he protects Hindu Dharma.

Eminent personalities like Mr. Suhas Patil, the Taluka-chief of Bajarang Dal, Mr. Sanjay Kubal, the Taluka chief of Kshatriya Maratha Mahasangha and Prof. Dr. Ankush Belvatkar were present on the occasion. Mr. Kashinath More compeered the program which was attended by about 250 Hindus.

Highlights

  1. The attendees did not leave although it started raining during the program.
  2. Ballads awakening Hindu ‘Kshatra-tej’ were played before the start of the program.
  3. One Muslim person was present throughout the program. (Will any Hindu person dare to attend a program held by non-Hindus? – Editor SP) He refused to let ‘tilak’ be applied on his forehead. (How can one dare to refuse a Hindu in a Hindu program? Will any Hindu dare to do such thing? Hindus must change this situation! – Editor SP)
