Curtailing duration of Amarnath pilgrimage is injustice to Hindus ! – H.B.P. Krushnarao Kshirsagar Maharaj

Satara : Millions of Hindus from India and abroad go to Kashmir for having ‘darshan’ of ‘Swayambhu Shivalinga’ naturally created in Shri Amarnath cave; going through strenuous journey and unfavourable atmosphere. This pilgrimage is a link that links Kashmir to whole of India; therefore, Kashmiri separatists always try to reduce the duration of this pilgrimage. Shri Amarnath Shrine Board has unfortunately, reduced the duration of pilgrimage without giving any reasons, which will start this year from 22nd July, The duration of pilgrimage has been cut short from 59 days to 48 days, i.e. reducing by 11 days. Reduction in duration of Amarnath pilgrimage is injustice to all Hindus, stated H.B.P. Krushnarao Kshirsagar Maharaj of Warakari Sampradaya while addressing demonstrations held in Golbaug area at Rajwada; between 11.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. with the initiative of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). The demonstrations staged under the auspices of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan (RHA)’ were also addressed by Shri. Hemant Sonawane, Sou. Rupa Mahadik, Sou. Vidya Kadam of HJS, Shri. Jitendra Wadekar, city-Minister of VHP; Shri. Satish Keskar of ‘Yoga Vedanta Samiti’ and Shri. Nimish Shah, dy. taluka-Chief of Shiv Sena and more than 60 activists participated in the demonstrations. 

Duration of Amarnath pilgrimage should be restored ! – Vidya Kadam

Not only ‘Swayambhu Shivalinga’ of Shri. Amarnath but even the cave creating such Shivalinga is sacred for Hindus and it is a faith that conversation between Shiva-Parvati took place here. BJP Government should provide tight security at this holy place to prevent attacks by terrorists on pilgrims so also at tents and free food courts erected for the pilgrims. Considering the religious sentiments of Hindus, period of Amarnath pilgrimage may be increased to 59 days, was the demand made by Sou. Vidya Kadam of HJS.

File cases of sedition against fanatic youth joining ISIS ! – Hemant Sonawane

Home Ministry has released 100 agents who were about to join ISIS, after trying to only dissuade them from doing so. Fanatic youth do not need any enlightenment against ISIS but cases of sedition should be filed against them, demanded Shri. Hemant Sonawane of HJS.

A proficient Act needs to be made against terrorism ! – Jitendra Wadekar

For taking action against people connected with ISIS, there is a need to enact a proficient law, stated Shri. Jitendra Wadkar.    

Highlights

1. The venue selected for staging demonstrations under RHA is a central market place for vendors; but two Hindu women selling earthen pots, shifted from their usual place of sale for making place for demonstrations and later informed that it was good program.

2. All material required for holding demonstrations was provided, without any charges, by devout Hindus from Kondoli viz. Shri. Umbare (mama – sound system), Shri. Hari Salunkhe (Table), Shri. Omkar Dongare (sound system) etc..
