Visakhapatnam (AndraPradesh): A 5 minute live interview was hosted by N TV, a TV channel that is broadcasts throughout Andhra Pradesh.

The interview was conducted on 24.08.09 on the occasion of Ganesh utsav. Shri Shriram Reddy of N TV interviewed Shri Chetan Janardhan and Shri Mahadev Shinde on behalf of the Samiti.

The questions asked were :

1-  In today’s world what purpose is served by celebrating the Sarvajanik Ganeshotsava?

2-  What is the HJS stand on the present day celebrations (vikratikaran of Utsav)

3-  What are the ill-effects on society because of the way the current Sarvajanik Ganesh utsav is being celebrated?  

4-  What effort is the Samiti making to bring about awareness on the ill effects of this celebration along with how it should be celebrated ideally ?

During the interview, both, the HJS flex Posters about Ganesh utsav and Sanatan’s satvik Ganesh idol were displayed for the viewers.
