Satara (Mahashtra): Guidance by Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of Hindu Janajgruti Samiti (HJS) for Maharashtra was recently held for devout Hindus at various places like Wai, Mahabaleshwar and Satara. The lectures received very good response. The senior devout Hindus attending the lectures appreciated the activities of HJS and said that the mission of HJS is very expansive. Since the members have profound knowledge of Dharma, their activities are effectively carried out with precision. The workers’ approach is that of selflessness and dedication.

A program held at Wai at Krushnotsava Mangal Karyalaya was attended by about 150 devout Hindus. Mrs. Vijayatai Bhosale, the President of Pratapgad Utsava Samiti also guided the audience. Mr. Shinde’s lectures were also held at Kudal and Mahabaleshwar. At Mahabaleshwar, he spoke to the main devout Hindus about the present situation regarding Dharma. A devout Hindu, Mr. Suryakant Panchal and his associates had organized the lecture. It was resolved in the meeting to intensify the efforts to create awareness among people at different places in Wai and Mahabaleshwar taluka. At the meeting held in Satara, about 250 devout Hindus were present at Gokul Mangal Karyalaya.

Highlights

  • At the venue of guidance, 3 policemen, in plain clothes, were present. Mr. Shinde began his lecture with a remark that although Muslims burn policemen, police will keep a vigil at the meetings of devout nationalists and not at the meetings of SIMI. Hearing this, police stopped noting down and left after sometime.
  • An office bearer of a pro-Hindu organization called up to say that although he was associated with a Hindu Organisation for many years, he learnt about the attack on Hindu Dharma now. Earlier, he was not aware of such attacks. The activities of HJS are very expansive. He also said that he would bring 25 persons known to him for the next meeting.
