Sub: Protest against using plastic flags in your programme called ‘Hapta Band’

Dear sir,

Hindu Janjagruti Samiti is registered NGO doing social, religious and National welfare work. Samiti is active throughout India and educating people about Dharma in scientific way, campaigning against malpractices done under religious practices  and solving problems connected with National, Religious and social field.

It was observed and brought to our notice that in your TV programme called Hapta Band telecasted on Wednesday/Thursday participants were  holding plastic National flags in their hands. We want to bring to your notice that using plastic National flags is a crime and banned by Home Ministry. A reputed TV channel like yours should be aware about this. We appreciate that you are holng patriotic program but instead of bringing awareness and respect to National Flag  in the people you are flouting the law.

You are required to immediately apologize for your anti national act on your TV channel and oblige.

Please acknowledge receipt and inform us the action being taken in the matter and oblige.

Thanking You,

Yours Truly,

Shivaji Vatkar
