Participation of lawyers is necessary for existence of Nation and Dharma ! – Adv. Kesarkar

Thane (Maharashtra):Today, the existence of Nation and Dharma is in danger. Hindus are throttled in every field in this country. If we do not become alert, our existence so also the existence of our Nation and Dharma will be in danger. It is a formidable task to face such hard situation. As the saying goes that ‘Sanghe shakti Kalauyuge:I’, we have to be united as is the need of the hour and should invoke the presence of God in whatever we do. We shall be successful in this task if we seek Guru’s grace by undertaking spiritual practice. We all know that in our freedom fight, there was valuable participation of lawyers like Swa. Savarkar, Lokmanya Tilak etc. Therefore, in these activities related to protection of Nation and Dharma, lawyers should take part. The above appeal was made by Adv. Kesarkar, honorary legal advisor of Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). He was speaking in a conference of advocates organized by HJS at the Hitavardhini Hall of Uma-Neelkanth Gymnasium in Thane. Mr. Shivaji Vatkar, the coordinator of HJS for Mumbai, Thane and Raigad districts was also present for the program attended by 16 lawyers. Mrs. Savita Lele compeered the program.

Mr. Kesarkar said, “The fundamental rights conferred by the Constitution are being trampled. Indian Constitution has accepted the concept of welfare of the citizens but presently, nobody is concerned about the welfare of people. In fact, common man is crushed under various government machineries like administration, judicial, media etc. People have to fight for their fundamental rights even after 62 years of independence. People have to, therefore, become self-reliant rather than depend on the Government and try to protect our Nation and Dharma to come out of such sorry state of affairs.”

Mr. Shivaji Vatkar said that today people have no respect for Dharma and ‘Dharma-shikshan’ resulting in incidents of denigration of Hindu Dharma, Holy Scriptures, saints and our deities, anti-Hindu Acts, conversions to other religions etc. HJS is therefore, trying to create awareness among people towards their Dharma and unite people. Advocates should join this mission as part of their spiritual practice.

Adc. Ganesh Sovani said, “I liked the principles, form and culture of HJS. I have seen their activities related to Nation and Dharma from close quarters, therefore, I am taking part in their activities and I am proud to do so.”
