Shravan Krushna Chaturthi, 5111

Thane (Maharashtra): People undergo lot of tensions due to injustice meted out to them through police, lawyers and judges under the existing judicial procedure. An open platform is, therefore, made available by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) by opening a branch of CEJI at Thane, as a part of its duty towards society, to help such affected people. The above information was given by Advocate Ramdas Kesarkar, the honorary legal adviser of Sanatan Sanstha and HJS in a press conference held at Lakshmi Keshav Hall. Mr. Kiran Waikar, an advocate of High Court and Mr. Shivaji Vatkar, the coordinator of HJS for Mumbai, Thane and Raigad districts attended the press conference that was compeered by Mrs. Savita Lele.

Adv. Kesarkar further said, “There are many drawbacks in the present judicial system. Errors in passing verdict, delay in getting justice or delay in implementation of justice, even if justice was obtained in time, are few examples of the same. In short, it amounts to not getting justice. It has, therefore, become necessary that citizens, who love and respect our country, to come forward to change this situation and CEJI is an open platform set up for the very purpose now with a branch opened in Thane.” He said, “Police do not register the complaint of complainants. They do not file charge sheet against the accused for years and try to cover up. They deliberately keep lacunae in the investigations to help the criminals. Such police is not savior but destroyer of the people. Recently, a bench of the Supreme Court had said that even if God came down, He would not be able to change this country. India has lost her character and the Court was helpless. People are experiencing such injustice for many years now. Few corrupt police, lawyers and judges who are important factors in judicial system are responsible for injustice being done to persons who seek justice. Such persons can contact the Committee.”

Mr. Vatkar said, “Injustice done to Hindus, insult of saints and objects of worship is brought forth through the medium of HJS; whereas judicial injustice will be brought forth through the medium of this Committee to help people.”

Adv. Kiran Waikar said, “I liked the approach of CEJI which is for the welfare of the people. I felt like joining the Committee as I found its principles worth following. I will make my office and time available for the success of this mission.”
