Kalyan: A delegation of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) called on the tehsildar of Kalyan and submitted to him a memorandum for prevention of denigration of our national flags. It has been mentioned in the memorandum that despite following up the matter time and again, the government is not taking concrete steps to prevent denigration of national flag.
Along with the memorandum submitted to Mr. Nitin Chavan, the Tehsildar, a VCD titled ‘Stop denigration of national flag !’ was also handed over to him with a demand to show the same on local channels and in the theatres. The delegation comprised of Mr. Durgesh Parulkar, city-president of Hindu Mahasabha for Dombivali, Mr. Ajay Sambhus, Thane district coordinator of HJS, Mr. Nikhil Chavan of BJP Youth Wing, Kalyan and HJS members, Mr. Ajay Biwalkar, Rakesh Godambe and Prakash Raut.
