Hindus resolve to perform ‘puja’ at Bhojshala on ‘Basant Panchami’

‘Dharma-sabha’ jointly organized by ‘Maharaja Bhoj Utsava Samiti’ and ‘Hindu Jagaran Manch’

Basant Panchami is on 12th February this year which is a Friday. It is a very important festival for Hindus and Hindus are allowed to perform ‘puja’ only once in a year on this day whereas Muslims are allowed to read ‘namaz’ every Friday at Kamal Maulana durgah which has been constructed in unauthorized manner in the premises of the temple. Hindus are demanding that Muslims should be asked to read ‘namaz’ at some other place on that Friday since millions of Hindus will gather for Basant Panchami celebrations. In this background, local administration has started discussions by holding meetings with both the parties and trying to find alternative, if any. Police administration has also started to take persons into custody who can create law and order problem.

Dhar (Madhya Pradesh) : Decision taken by Hindus with unity will prevail. This year, Hindus will perform ‘puja’ on Basant Panchami in Bhojshala during whole day and the Government administration should not create obstacles in their resolve was the warning given by Shri. Vikram Singh Raghuvanshi, ‘Vibhag Pracharak’ of RSS during a meeting held on 24th January 2016 by ‘Maharaj Bhoj Utsava Samiti’ formed for freeing the temple of Shri Saraswati Devi (Bhojshala); jointly with Hindu Jagaran Manch. Thousands of Hindus gathered for the ‘sabha’ made a resolve to perform ‘puja’ at ‘Bhojshala’ whole day on this Basant Panchami. The ‘sabha’ was started with lighting of lamp and presided over by Jagadishchandra Sharma and Vimal Godha. Shri. Gopal Sharma enlightened participants on ‘Bhojshala Mukti Sangram’ during the first half of the ‘sabha’. He said that Hindus were allowed entry in ‘Bhojshala’ after intense struggle during the year 2003. In the year 2006, Hindus peformed ‘puja’ on Basant Panchami and in the year 2013,  ‘namaz’ was not read in ‘Bhojshala’ premises owing to united opposition of Hindus.

Sadhvi Rhutambhara guided the audience through conference call. She said that her soul would be with demonstrating Hindus in ‘Bhojshala Mukti’ movement although she might not be present with them physically. She would be with them whenever there would be need for protection of Hindu Dharma.
