Pune (Maharashtra): Hindu Dharma is the only Dharma which is absolutely pure and scientific. The method of spiritual practice as prescribed in Sanatan Hindu Dharma is for the progress of mankind. The above statement was made by Bhagavatacharya H.B.P. Gopal Maharaj in a rally held on the occasion of ‘Guru Pournima’ by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for bringing Hindus together. Besides Bhagavatacharya, Mr. Rohit Bhat of Jammu-Kashmir Youth Forum, Mr. Sunil Ghanavat, the spokesperson of HJS for Pune shared the platform. Mrs. Varsha Madigeri, municipal councillor of BJP attended the program. About 250 devout Hindus participated in this rally.

The program started with lighting of lamp. Mr. Mahendra kumar Bhavsar introduced the members of audience to the activities of HJS. This was followed by guidance by Mr. Rohit Bhat. He said, “Hindus from Kashmir were expecting help from Hindus from other parts of the country, but that did not happen. From this, we must learn  that, it is essential for all  Hindus to unite and fight against the problem. We could run away from Kashmir and had the option of going anywhere in India, but considering the incidents taking place in Maharashtra, you have nowhere to go except Arabian Sea; therefore, wake up at least now and unite.” Mr. Sunil Ghanavat also emphasized the importance of Hindu unity at this time of crisis, when the nation and Dharma are in danger.

The principal of Shi Shivalinga Dhavaleshwar Santsai School was felicitated as ‘ideal teacher’ on behalf of HJS at the hands of Bhagavatacharya H.B.P. Gopal Maharaj. Later, Miss Shrutika Garud, a student-seeker was felicitated at the hands of Mr. Rohit Bhat for securing good marks in the SSC Board examination. The child-seekers presented a short play titled “Do not follow western culture blindly, but make a resolve to follow the path as prescribed in Dharma” which was very much appreciated by the members of the audience.
