Recently HJS submitted memorandum to Chief Minister of Karnataka to take proper action against controversial NCERT History textbooks. Now CM office has assured HJS to take proper action against NCERT textbook.

A letter as been sent to the Principal officer of  Education division, Primary and Adult education,
Bangalore, CM/13451/REPGEN/2009 dated 26.5.2009 to take the appropriate action regarding the
pitition. It is to inform you that an appropriate action is being taken.
