HJS Demand to change distorted History portion from NCERT

Shribag (Maharashtra): NCERT has allocated only 4 lines to explain history pertaining to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj which is an insult of Shivaji Maharaj; but it has devoted 60-70 pages for glorification of the Mughal Rulers. The same curriculum has been followed in many schools in Maharashtra and students are taught distorted history. A memorandum was, therefore, submitted to resident dy. District Collector Gautam Gaikwad demanding immediate change in the portion.

Shri. Aswad Patil, the Chairman of Alibaug Patenchayat Samiti, Shri. Abhay Vartak, the spokesperson, Sanatan Sanstha, Shri. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of HJS for Maharashtra, Shri. Sudhakar Padhye, spokesperson of HJS for Alibaug District and many devout Hindus like Kalpesh Purandare, Narayan Gosavi, Girish Joshi, Kunte etc. were present on the occasion.
