Resolution to unite Hindu women having good moral values

Jyeshtha Shuddha Saptami

Panvel (Maharashtra): If the lady in a house has good moral values, every member of the family becomes a virtuous person. Women should therefore, take out some time from their daily chores and try to teach good moral values to her family members and other Hindu woman. The above decision was taken in a meeting of women held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) which was attended by 25 women and had the auspicious presence of Sanatan’s saint H. H. Pande Maharaj.

Shri. Shriram Kane, the district coordinator of HJS for Raigad said at the start of the meeting, “Participation of women is very limited even though Hindu Dharma and its customs and traditions are under attack. Women in Kashmir and Bangla Desh have been extremely oppressed. It is the purpose of this meeting to make women aware of this truth and make them physically, mentally and spiritually capable to fight such situation.

H. H. Pande Maharaj said, “The present situation is very precarious and Hindus have to now decide whether they want to die as Hindus or convert to Islam. There is decadence of Indian culture owing to our blindly following western culture. One can not attain God unless one dissolves one’s existence. If you introspect even for a second, you will realize the power in self. People are responsible for today’s condition which is resulting in attacks on the nation.”

The meeting was attended by Mrs. Shreyasi Karve, Mrs. Sulabha Patil, Mrs. Mohini Mandhare from Panvel, Mrs. Varsha Raokar from Nagothane among others. Smt. Jayashree Bhalerao said that she realized the importance of having good moral values. She said that women must take initiative in keeping children away from watching even cartoon serials/ films. Dr. (Mrs.) Sheetal Prasadi said that every Hindu woman must wake up. We can tell other women about various drives undertaken by HJS. Women should follow the path as prescribed by Dharma in her daily life. Mrs. Garud from Panvel said that she got inspiration through this meeting. We have Guru’s grace but still we take doer-ship in everything. Sewa must be done with more ‘Bhava’.

H. H. Pande Maharaj clarified doubts of the participants. He said that they need not feel scared that there is nobody to help them. In States like Rajasthan and even in Chennai, HJS could successfully hold ‘Dharma-sabha’ although there were hardly 2-3 members. The divine energy helps to make impossible things possible. If the lady of the house has good values, children too would inculcate them else, they would turn out to be criminals.
