Alibaug (Maharashtra): Photo-exhibition devised by FACT on ‘Grave Truth about Terrorism’ giving information on oppression of Hindus in Kashmir will be held on 29th May, Friday and 30th May, Saturday at Dongre Hall in Alibaug. The exhibition will be open for public from 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. After holding this exhibition in various languages in different parts of the country, this is the tenth time that it is being organized in Raigad district. The above information was given by Shri. Shriram Kane, the district coordinator of Raigad for Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) in a press conference. S/Shri. Anil Chopda, president of Indian Jain Organization for Alibaug, Sudhakar Padhye, Alibaug –prasarak of HJS and Girish Joshi, reader and well-wisher of Dainik Sanatan Prabhat attended the press conference.

Shri. Kane said, “Terrorists have killed 83,000 Kashmiri Hindus since 1990 under the name of ‘jihad’ whereas 400,000 Hindus have been displaced and had to take refuge in other parts of the country. Our armed forces have lost 68000 men so far but the Government is still indifference towards this issue and it is unpardonable. The so-called Human Right Commissions are also keeping mum on this issue. Indian Government and media have hidden this grave truth all these years. It will, however, be possible for people of Alibaug to learn the truth due to this exhibition.”

Shri. Padhye said, “Hindus are not following the path prescribed by Dharma; they are also unaware about the atrocities meted out by terrorists against Hindus living in Kashmir. HJS is, therefore, creating awareness among Hindus through the medium of this exhibition and trying to unite them.”

Highlights

  • Media persons were shown the film on oppression of Hindus titled “….. and the world remained silent”
  • They were also shown a few photographs from the exhibition.

Cooperation

  • Shri. Mukesh Jain made available ‘Gujarati Mahajan Hall’ for the press conference free of cost. HJS, therefore, thanked Shri. Mukesh Jain.
