HJS, HMS, KMWA Celebrates Shiva Basava Jayanti in Bangluru

Bangluru: Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), Bangluru along with Hindu Maha Sabha (HMS) and Karnataka Maratha Welfare Association (KMWA) celebrated SHIV- BASAVA Jayanthi at Bashyam Circle Bangalore (Shivaji Jayanthi is on 26th and Basava Jayanti on the 27th of April).


The dignitaries garlanded the statue of Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj.

Sri Mohan Gowda, convener Hindu Janajagruti Samiti said that any activity started on the Akshay Tritiya indicates good beginning for the Nation and Righteousness. This is the the right time to instil patriotism in our youth to fight against the grave situation the country is facing.

The greatness of Shivaji and Basaveswara should be ideals for the present generation Sri Ishwar Rao, spokesman Hindu Maha Sabha said.

Later it was unanimously decided that Bhashyam Circle, where the statue of Shivaji Maharaj is present should be renamed as CHATRAPATHI SHIVAJI MAHARAJ CIRCLE. There were more than 15 dharmabhimanies present.

  • When Sri Mohan Gowda suggested that the Bhashyam Circle be renamed as Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj Circle all the people spontaneously responded and pledged to pursue the cause.
