Lecture by HJS on the occasion of ‘Gudi Padva’ in Mauritius

Mauritius: Prof. Ramanand Chivate, a member of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) from Mauritius conducted a lecture on 28th March on the occasion of Gudi Padva. The topic of the lecture was ‘Importance of Gudi padva’. Prof. Chivate is involved in activities related to protection of Hindu Dharma based outside India. The lecture was organized on behalf of ‘Palma Marathi Sabha’ and ‘Maratha Force’ from Mauritius which was attended by more than 300 people. The program was also attended by Mrs. Shailabai Bappu, Minister for Social Security, Shri. Surendra Dayal, MOCA Division Member of Parliament, Opposition Leader Alan Ganu, Idris Sakhabuth, Mayor and other members of Municipal Corporation; besides, members of Maratha Force and Marathi Mandals. Shri. Chivate was felicitated with a shawl and coconut.
