Mumbai: In the background of Legislative Assembly’s sessions starting from today, Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANS) will start its dreadful agitation of writing letters with blood protesting against the delay in passing the anti-Superstitions Act. Mumbai Division of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) lodged a complaint with Azad Maidan Police Station to stop such dreadful drive. Dr. Uday Dhuri, Mumbai district coordinator of HJS, Shri. Kashiram Parab, zonal coordinator and Shri. Prasad Mankar, its member went to the Azad Maidan police station and lodged an official complaint. HJS has demanded that the concerned Bill is with Joint Review Committee for examination and the dreadful, dirty and disgusting campaign bringing unnecessary pressure on the Government by writing protest letters with blood as proposed by ANS should be stopped immediately.

Permission will not be granted for dreadful agitation

Shri. Madhye, staff member of police department informed the delegation of HJS that police permission is necessary for even a simple matter like burning effigy of somebody. In this case, demonstrators are planning to do something dreadful, therefore, permission will not be granted and if at all, they start the agitations, action can be taken based on the complaint.
