Maragashirsha Krushna Saptami

Nagpur (Maharashtra): ‘Cruel Moguls are considered as noble and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is not paid any respect, showing disregard for him in the Text Books by N.C.E.R.T.; hence a protest march was led to Vidhanbhavan at Nagpur by Hindu Janjagruti Samiti (HJS) in protest against Congress Government who was responsible for that type of distortion. ‘Varkari Sect’, ‘Sant Dnyaneshwar-Tukaram Pratishthan’ and ‘Sanatan Sanstha’ along with proud Hindus who had participated in the Morcha.

Hatred for Hindus expressed in the N.C.E.R.T. Text Books!

After declaring Revolutionary Bhagatsing as terrorist, this year’s History Text Book has some information – ‘Hamare Ateet’ (Our History) in which most of the pages out of 154 have the information about the Sultans from Delhi and their expanding kingdom. In fact Sultans had attacked Hindustan and captured it treating Hindus very cruelly and they are depicted as noble. In the said Text Books information regarding Allauddin Khilji, Muhammad Tughlak, Babar, Akbar, Humayun and other Sultans along with their pictures, is given; whereas, Historical information about Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj who had given tough fight against the Moguls and had established ‘Hindavi Swarajya’ is given in only 6 lines. So also there is no mention of Maharana Pratap in the entire book.

There were slogans like – ‘Cancel the curriculum that is given by N.C.E.R.T., ‘Contempt for the government for degrading Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’, ‘Contempt for the Congress Government for showing disregard to Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and giving prominence to the cruel Mogals’ and some other slogans were heard which were given enthusiastically by thoseproud Hindus participating in the Morcha. Some of them were carrying various banners of protest in their hands. Ultimately the Morcha culminated into a public meeting.

History is changed in order to secure Muslim votes ! – Shrikant Kshirsagar

While speaking to the audience Mr. Shrikant Kshirsagar said “No other country in the world gives the history of cruel and destroying attackers with great honour by suppressing the History of the National Heroes who had given tough fight against the attackers. In 13.33% schools in all over Bharat this distorted History is taught. Hence the said Text Books should be changed and the true History of Hindustan should be given instead in the Text Book. Otherwise they would have to face the anger from the patriotic citizens”.

If the wrong History is not changed then we shall teach a lesson to the Congress – Mohanbuva Patrikar

Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had shown his might and worked so hard that it was maintained for 10 centuries which was not possible for the Congress Government. If this kind of wrong History is not changed then we would organize protest marches leading to the schools and forced the Government to change the History, warned – Moanbuva Patrikar in the meeting while addressing the gathering. Mr. Vijay Bavdekar, Sub-Editor of monthly ‘Jeevanchetana’ also addressed the gathering.

In the end the committee representing the Varkari Sampraday, Sant Dynaneshwar-Tukaram Pratishthan, Sanatan Sanstha and HJS handed over a representation to the State Revenue Minister Mr. Rana Jagjitsing Patil to be handed over to the Chief Minister, Education Minister, Leader of the Opposition Party, Chief Secretary and Secretary of Education. State Minister, Mr. Patil said to the committee, “Meet me in the Sachivalaya in Mumbai in January. I shall try to present the said issue and shall hand over the said representation to the respective Ministers.”
