The Hindus should pay gratitude at the Holy Feet of the Lord for the grand success !

Kolhapur (Maharashtra): In the face of unpleasant skirmishes and angry agitations of Hindus and Muslims against each other on the issue of illegal construction of a madarassa in Kolhapur’s Kanannagar area, the local Muslims at last blinked and demolished the illegal madarassa on their own.

The illegal madarassa was first demolished by the corporation which led to riot-like situation in the city. Some Muslims fatally attacked the corporation’s sub-engineer Shri Nirmale who supervised the demolition. However, the attackers were released on bail the very next day. Previously, a few Hindus were sent to jail for 8 days for no fault of theirs and therefore the Hindus were up in arm against the police for their biased attitude. They had warned of a strong morcha and agitational programme against the police. The madarassa was then suddenly built up overnight. The corporation gave a notice to demolish the construction within 24 hours to the persons concerned. However for the next two days the illegal construction was not demolished by the corporation on the ground that they did not get necessary police protection. (That the corporation needs such a police protection only shows that the Muslims possess a compulsive terrorist mentality. – Editor) At last the Muslims relented and the authorities of madarassa then gave a letter to the corporation that they would shortly demolish the illegal structure and accordingly the unlawful construction was demolished by the Muslims themselves.
