Bangaluru: Under the aegis of ‘Manavsthal’, an organisation of ‘H.H. Pilotbaba’ who is the Upakhya of Pilotswamy Dhyan Sumanand Saraswati Maharaj’ the ‘World Health Day’ was celebrated in Dnyanajyoti hall here. The programme was jointly sponsored by ‘Sanatan Sanstha’, ‘Indian Red Cross Society’ and ‘Vasavi International Club’. The programme included various activities like medical camp, blood donation camp and a symposium on protection of environment etc. Present on the occasion were Shri Vyankatachalaiah, ex-chief justice of Bharat; H.H. Swamy pilotbaba, founder of Manavshal organisation; Swamy Rajrishi Shiva; Ms. Pramila Naisagi, ex-MLA; Shri Narendra Babu, ex-MLA; Shri Shivanna of Rashriya Kisan Sangha; Shri Mahesh Joshi, director of Karnataka Doordarshan; Shri Sanjay Veersingh, registrar of Bangaluru University; Smt. Rani Satish and Shri Ramesh Shinde, spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha.

Shri Mahesh Joshi, director of Karnataka Doordarshan said, “We should be strong and it is also essential to make our nation and the entire universe strong”. Shri Ramesh Shinde, spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha gave valuable information about protection of environment and blood donation from the angle of science of spirituality. He said, “Adharma i.e. unrighteousness is the root cause of all the ills and adversities in the world. We blatantly ignore our Dharma and try to attain technological progress in keeping with the age of science by blindly following in the footsteps of the westerners. But now it has transpired that it was not the progress but degeneration to the point of total ruin. Today man has become selfish and has forgotten sacrifice and is indulging in exploiting the nature. It is the teaching of Hindu Dharma not to exploit the nature but to appease the Deities and seek their grace with love and devotion.”

In his concluding speech, H.H. Pilotbaba said, “We should understand the main objective of our life. We should not only observe the IQ of a person but his emotional quotient (EQ) also. If the EQ is not proper, he will never be stable in life. To make the EQ proper, man’s spiritual quotient (SQ) should be proper. Hitler’s neither EQ was proper not SQ and hence the world had to witness the unprecedented genocide.”
