The The National Council of Hindu Temples UK (NCHT UK )Announces the British Board of Hindu Scholars’, “Dharma Rising” 2015 Hindu Scholars Conference. The worlds most prominent “Intellectual Kashatriyas” gathering in London for a day of Dharmic Debate and Revelation. Anti corruption litigator, Politician and former Harvard Economics Professor Dr Subramanian Swamy, accompanied by world leading Dharmic Scholar and Best Selling Author of “Breaking India”, “Invading the Sacred” and other revolutionary books, Shri Rajiv Malhotra and spiritual leader, the dynamic HH Jagannath Priya Dasji will be joining Dr Gautam Sen and other Scholars, British Hindu leaders and activists to map out a vision for British Hindus. The main “Dharma Rising” conference will be in Harrow London and 3/4 other regional events in Oxford, West Midlands and Slough.
Some group of people have expressed anguish at the invitation extended to Subramnian Swamy and Rajiv Malhotra by the Oxford India Society and have started the online petition to ‘Reconsider Invitation to Swamy and Malhotra’ to urge reconsideration of the invitation extended to Subramanian Swamy and Rajiv Malhotra to speak at the University of Oxford.
To counter this petition a online petition is started to ‘Celebrate Dr. Subramanian Swamy and Mr. Rajiv Malhotra’.
It is a shame that some group calling itself “Oxford students” is trying to muzzle these two eminent scholars with a completely frivolous petition calling for them to be dis-invited from speaking at Oxford. These gentlemen must be heard, and the Oxford community must be allowed to make up its own mind after hearing their excellent, well-argued views.

“Oxford has regarded itself as a bastion of intellectual freedom, and it would be a blot on its image to block free speech just because some individuals feel that free speech works only in one direction. The allegations made in their petition against me are utterly ridiculous and false; in fact, the book of mine they cite does not have any bearing on Wendy Doniger or reference to her, and yet they claim it has somehow harmed her. These individuals seem to be over-opinionated but under-informed.
I thrive on debating opponents and have numerous Youtube videos of such debates. I would welcome debating an opponent in Oxford, in a fair and neutrally moderated forum, with our cameras streaming it for viewers worldwide. If my opponents are clever, they should take me up on my offer to debate.”

I hope much that this DEBATE will take place and people must come out of darkness of ignorance into the illuminating knowledge. I have myself signed the petition plus have passed on to 25 people to do the same. The sooner the better!
