FACT exhibition at Thane

Thane (Maharashtra): Pujya Mahalebaba expressed his regret over the fact that nowadays people prefer entertainment programs to spiritual programs like discourse or keertan. Members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) go door to door and make people aware about the atrocities inflicted on Hindus and assaults on Hindu Dharma; but people do not want to go out and participate in such activities, they would rather attend an entertainment program like plays etc. They have no time to attend campaigns undertaken by HJS.

An exhibition of photographs on terrorism in Kashmir that was devised by FACT, was organized by HJS at a municipal school in Vartaknagar area between 25th and 27th January. Pujya Mahalebaba was speaking on the occasion of inauguration of the exhibition. About 1500 people visited the exhibition. Many of the viewers expressed anger over the Government for having failed in prevention of terrorism.

Pujya Mahalebaba said that every Hindu’s blood should boil on seeing Hindu oppression and they should punish the oppressor; but Hindus do not show their strength where it is necessary and therefore, Hindus are being attacked in different manner. The program was attended by S/Shri. Sambhaji Suryarao, the branch head of Shiv Sena, Smt. Chhaya Rao, a municipal councilor, Shri. Ajay Sambhus, Thane district coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. Shri. Ravindran, Secretary at Vidya Niketan English School in Vartaknagar offered the premises of the school for carrying out HJS activities.

Shri. Vadile Guruji, the Principal of the Municipal School extended necessary help to hold the exhibition. Shri. Sambhaji Suryarao, Shiv Sena leader made chairs available without any charges. Shri. Raghavan (C.A) who attends Dharma-satsangs held by HJS regularly attended the exhibition on all 3 days and explained to people about the exhibition.
