1. Special geographical position of India : India is in the East hemisphere and the Tropic of Cancer passes through the centre of this country. India is in the North hemisphere of the world and on East Longitude towards South-East direction. South-East direction is considered as God’s direction and all types of climate can be experienced in India.
2. Holy rivers of India : There are many holy rivers in India like Ganga, Yamuna, Godavari, Saraswati, Narmada, Sindhu and Kaveri.
3. Spiritual importance of India
A. In this land, 9 incarnations of Shri Vishnu were born so also great Sages like Maharshi Vyaas.
B. The roots of ‘Vedas’ and all other ‘shastras’ originated in this land. This land has been abode of Deities, sages, Saints, great seers and even today, great Saints and Seers live here.
C. This land has become sacred due to visits by Saints while going on the pilgrimage of ‘Chaar Dhaam’. Therefore, this land is full of ‘sattvikata’.
D. Prabhu Shriram travelled in Bharat till Shri Lanka on foot while in exile. He stayed at many places during His journey which became pilgrimage places and are revered even today.
E. Centres of ‘Shakti-Peetha’ are located in this land at various places; bestowing ‘shakti’ over respective regions.
F. There are special events like ‘Kumbh-Mela’, holy places, ‘Veda- recitations’ and ‘Yadnya-culture’ happening in India.
G. It is the ‘sattvika’ land of the Universe and is the navel of the Universe.
4. Bharat is bound with ‘Shri-chakra’
4. A. ‘Shri-chakra’ is a symbol of union between Shiva-Parvati : Bharat is bound by Shri-chakra; therefore, it is sacred land. There are two triangles in ‘Shri-chakra’ in which the head of upper triangle is facing upwards and head of other triangle is facing downwards while both the triangles are blended in each other. The upper triangle of such Shri-chakra is indicative of ‘Purush Shiva-swarup’ and the lower inverted triangle is indicator of ‘Prakruti, form of Parvati’. Thus ‘Shri-chakra’ is symbolic of union between Shiva-Parvati.
4. B. India (Bharat Khanda) is a ‘Shri-chakra’ (see above picture) : The above picture of India shows that there is union of Aravali, Himalaya and Satpuda which is ‘Purush Shiva-swarup’ triangle. In this triangle, Himalaya is on right, on left is Aravali and the base of the triangle is Satpuda. In lower triangle, there is Eastern Ghat on East, western ghat on West i.e. Sahyadri and the base of this triangle is Vindhya Range. Both these triangles have merged into each other. Kailas is the highest peak on North of Shiva and base is the mountain range of Shiva i.e. Satpuda. At the time of Shivaratri, Shiva –devotees go for Shiva-darshan to Satpuda, a mountain of Shiva. The south angle of this triangle of “prakruti’ is Kanyakumari; whereas Vindhya Range is its base. All these are not just mountains; but they are great ‘Shakti (powers)’.
4. C. Position of mountains and rivers In India as per ‘Shri-chakra’ : Mountain ranges and rivers have covered whole ‘Bharat-bhoomi’. From these mountain ranges in the form of ‘Shri-chakra’, rivers like Brahmaputra, Sindhu, Ganga, Yamuna, Saraswati and their tributaries have originated whereas from middle part, rivers viz. Narmada, Tapi and Purna and from mountain ranges in South, rivers like Mahanadi, Godavari, Krushna, Kaveri and their tributaries are flowing. These mountains and rivers have covered whole Bharat. Once upon a time, with the blessings of these mountains and rivers, Bharat used to be known as ‘land of gold’. Therefore, in the national song ‘Vande Mataram’, Bankimchandra describes Bharat as ‘Sujalam, Suphalam’. Such spiritual land is found nowhere in the world.
5. Immorality and unrighteousness has increased in Bharat which has affected rivers and mountains and effects of their ‘chaitanya’ cannot be perceived
Land of Bharat is a spiritual centre and the whole world exists because of her ‘chaitanya’; but there is corruption, immorality and unrighteousness spread all over this land; all ‘Varnas’ are probably behaving like ‘shudra varnas’ which is the sign of ‘Kali Yuga’; resulting in increase in ‘Raja- Tama’ components. These Raja/ Tama are charging rivers and mountains, which create ‘Shri-chakra’, with negative energies and the ‘chaitanya’ in them cannot be perceived. If the effect of negative energies increases like this, it will result in catastrophe; total destruction. The covering of negative energies can be removed by undertaking spiritual practice and even today, a seeker is benefited with such ‘chaitanya’.
6. Follow this to regain past glory of Bharat
It is a request to all Indians to start spiritual practice for regaining India’s past glory. It will help in reducing negative energies that have increased due to increased ‘Raja/ Tama’ and this holy land of Bharat will regain her chaitanya. Bharat is a spiritual Guru of the world; therefore, it should impress upon all the importance of spiritual practice; motivating people to undertake spiritual practice. With this, the whole atmosphere of Universe will once again be charged with ‘chaitanya’ and such Universe will save all mankind from destruction.
