Resolve to take out huge march on 2 February to protest against PMDS scam

Issue of misappropriation of funds by Paschim Maharashtra Devasthan Samiti

Kolhapur (Maharashtra) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Hindu Vidhidnya Parishada (HVP) have exposed scam involving billions of rupees committed by western Maharashtra Devasthan Samiti that has created furor in western Maharashtra. Residents of Kolhapur have united, setting up ‘Shri Mahalakshmi Devasthan Bhrashtachar-virodhi Kruti Samiti’ and has started an extensive movement. Under this movement against the corruption, it has been decided to take out a huge march on 2^nd February 2015 starting at 11.00 a.m. from Gandhi Maidan in Kolhapur.

Various organizations have come together and resolved to strive for the success of such march and they are Gurav Samaj, Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana, Kolhapur Calling Sanghatana, residents of Vadagane and Bambavade (Taluka Shahuwadi), Sanyukta Shaniwar Peth Mandal, Mrutyunjaya Mitra Mandal, New Samrat Chowk Tarun Mandal, Gawali group and different gymnasiums in Kolhapur.
A meeting was held recently at Government Rest House led by Shri. Rajesh Kshirsagar, MLA of Shiv Sena. It was decided that everyone from all houses in all areas will join this march.
