Change in curriculum is necessary as the existing text book degrades Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj !

Congratulations to BJP MLA Shri. Mangalprabhat Lodha for taking up Hindus’ demand in Assembly session !

Nagpur (Maharashtra) : In National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT)’s text book, history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has been given only in one paragraph and information on Mughal invaders has been given in detail. There is information on Aurangzeb filling two pages of the book whereas there is no information on Maharana Pratap. It is stated in this text book that the Marathas lost battle at Panipat and Raigad. Nowhere has it been mentioned in this book that Hindus ancestors were also valiant or they fought wars. It is an attempt to show our ancestors as cowardly. It is, therefore, necessary to carry out changes in the book. The above information was given by BJP MLA Shri. Mangalprabhat Lodha on 17th December in Assembly session while presenting the points on propriety.

HJS meets MLA Mangalprabhat Lodha !

Shri. Sunil Ghanavat of Hindu janajagruti Samiti (HJS) met MLA Shri. Lodha in connection with anti-Hindu policy of NCERT. He said that it was a serious subject and we should create awareness amongst people while making attempts to promptly carry out changes in the book. He suggested meeting the Chief Minister to take necessary measures.

Education Minister Vinod Tawade makes a demand with Central Education Minister for inclusion of detailed history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in text books of Central Education Board. A representation was submitted by HJS to Shri. Vinod Tawade and he took a serious note of the issue presented through it. Shri. Tawade has written to Central Education Minister Smruti Irani for inclusion of detailed history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Central Education Board’s history text book.
