Notice
As Per C.R.P.C. 149

To,
Shri. Sagar Nimbalkar
Jawaan Housing Society
Sadar Market, Satara.

This is to inform you that, on behalf of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, you have put up a picture advertisement in Satara city which contains the following matter – ‘Thousands of Hindu women raped, more than 93,000 Kashmiri Hindus killed, 8 lakh Kashmiri Hindus displaced due to fear, thousands of Hindu temples demolished and idols of deities desecrated. Hindus! We are responsible for this plight of our brethren as much as our politicians. If we do not act upon this situation then we shall be sinned for destroying Hindus and the Hindu Dharma.’ Likewise, you have also organised an exhibition displaying photographs and documentaries in this regard, from 26-10-2007 to 28-10-2007 between 10 am to 8 pm at Rajatsagar Mangal Karyalaya, Powai Naka, Satara. There is a possibility that this exhibition being organised by your association may create a communal rift between two religions and result in an atmosphere of conflict. Likewise, such exhibitions promote instability in the society. Thus, one cannot deny the possibility of a law and order situation being created due to the occurrence of untoward incidents as a result of your exhibition. So, please do not conduct this exhibition organised by your association. Please note that if a law and order situation of any type arises due to the same, you shall be held solely responsible and appropriate action shall be initiated against you as per the prevalent laws.

Yours sincerely,
Police Inspector
