Tasgaon (Sangali): Hindus should strive untiringly for the protection of Dharma!

Tasgaon 14th August  – "The present situation in Kashmir is horrifying. The fear of terrorism has made it difficult for the Hindus there to move about freely. Under these circumstances, if the Hindus do not make time for the protection of Dharma, there is every chance that they will be totally wiped out. Muslims offer Namaz five times in a day, whereas the Hindus are indifferent towards following their religion. It is important to strive untiringly in order to change these conditions and to safeguard Dharma", these were the thoughts echoed by the Sangli district chief of the Shree Sampraday, Shri. Shrikant Chavan, during the inaugural function. In order to acquaint all Hindus with the severe form of terrorism and the innumerable atrocities perpetrated on the Kashmiri and Bangladeshi Hindus, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had organised the exhibition from the 13th to the 15th of August. This exhibition titled "The Gory Truth of Terrorism" produced by FACT was held at the Veerashaiva Lingayat Office at Tasgaon. This exhibition was inaugurated yesterday by lighting of the lamp by Shri. Shrikant Chavan, the Sangli district chief of the Shree Sampraday. Other honorable attendees included the Deputy Mayor of Tasgaon, Shri. Amol Shinde, the Sangli district chief of the Shree Sampraday, Shri. Shrikant Chavan and HJS member Shri. Rajaram Repal. About one hundred devout Hindus also attended this function.

The Deputy Mayor Shri. Amol Shinde said, our Hindu brethren in Kashmir are being cruelly murdered; the terrorists are assaulting our mothers and sisters. This photo exhibition organised by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti is creating awareness amongst Hindus on a massive scale. We will cooperate in a big way for the work of Hindutva. (If peoples’ representatives all over become active in this manner, it will not be long before there is awakening of Dharma! – Editor).
